At DateON, your privacy is our priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your data when you use the DateON mobile app ("App"), together called the "Platform".

Who We Are: References to "we", "us", or "our" mean DateON and/or the Platform. "You" or "user" refers to anyone using our Platform.

Your Consent: By using the Platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy and consent to how we handle your personal information. If you don't agree, please don't use the Platform.

This Privacy Policy works alongside our Terms of Service. If there is a conflict, this Privacy Policy takes precedence.

How Do We Use Your Information

How Your Information Is Shared

Information visible to other users: Parts of your profile (such as username, age range, gender, and location) may be visible to other users. Content you choose to share (including messages, posts, and media) may be visible to others depending on where/how you share it.

Sharing with service providers: We may share your data with trusted third parties who help us operate the Platform (for example: payments, hosting, analytics, customer support, communications, and security).

With authorities: We may disclose information if required by law or to address fraud, safety, or security concerns.

During business changes: If DateON is acquired, merged, or reorganized, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. Where required, we will notify you and provide options available under applicable law.

Security Practices

We use reasonable security measures to protect the information we collect. If you have a username and password, you are responsible for keeping these details safe. Please do not share your password with anyone.

Calls & Video

DateON enables audio and video calls between users. Call metadata (duration, participants, timestamps) may be stored for billing and safety purposes. Actual call content is transmitted peer-to-peer via WebRTC and is not recorded or stored by DateON.

Payments & Wallet

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. We store transaction records for billing purposes but do not store your full card or bank account details. Withdrawal requests are processed through verified payment channels.

Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time through the app or by contacting us at info@dateon.app. We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days unless we are required to retain certain information for legal, security, or compliance purposes.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, maintain security, and handle disputes. We may retain certain records for legal, security, or investigation purposes.

Third-Party Links & Embeds

Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites or apps. If you click on these links, those sites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices, so we recommend reviewing their policies before sharing any personal information with them.

Some content may be hosted by third parties (for example, embedded media). When you view embedded content, data may be sent to those third parties as if you visited them directly. We do not control how third parties collect or use your data.

Cookie Policy (Summary)

We may use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember preferences, analyze usage, improve performance, and help with safety and fraud prevention. You can usually control cookies through your browser/device settings, but disabling cookies may affect your experience.

Child Safety Standards - DateON

DateON strictly prohibits any form of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, trafficking, sextortion, or any exploitative behavior involving minors.

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward any content or activity that endangers children. Any user found engaging in such activities will be permanently banned and reported to relevant law enforcement authorities where required.

Users can report inappropriate content, profiles, messages, or accounts directly within the DateON app using the in-app report and block features.

DateON reviews all reports promptly and removes violating content immediately. We cooperate with applicable child safety authorities and comply with all applicable child safety laws and regulations.
